Going to a nail salon to get my manicure done is something I have never enjoyed. I've always preferred doing my nails myself and keeping the budget friendly. Recently I stepped up my game by adding the Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover to my routine. I do my manicure in seven steps, preferably on sundays, where I give myself 2 hours for some me-time to get myself ready for the start of the new week.

Sunday Post: Brookies Recipe
After recovering from all the Christmas family meals, I decided to jump straight on Lily Pebbles' dairy-free brookie recipe which sounded delicious! I served them when they were still warm and I must say that all my family (grandma included) enjoyed them and all the 40 freshly baked cookies were gone by the end of this evening. Slightly hard on the outside but spongie and gooey on the inside like a brownie.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The Ingredients...
45g cocoa powder
200g caster sugar
2 eggs
120g flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking powder
65ml vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
30g icing sugar
LET'S GET CRACKING!
-------------------------------------------------------------
- In a bowl, mix together the cocoa, caster sugar and vegetable oil. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the cocoa mixture. Cover dough, and chill for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat oven to 180 c/ gas mark 4. Line baking trays with baking paper. Pour icing sugar onto a plate and using a metal tablespoon, spoon and roll mixture into 2.5cm balls coating each one with the icing sugar before placing onto prepared trays.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. Let them stand on the baking tray for a minute before transferring to wire racks to cool.
For a winter evening they are perfect to have with tea wrapped up in a blanket (this is optional, but trust me)

The Lessons Learned in 2014
2014 has been a great and successful year for me, I
feel like I've grown a lot and the great moments I've experienced in these past
twelve months have taught me a lot. Looking back I wouldn't want to change
anything and I hope 2015 will be as great as this past year, if not even
better!

This Week's Most Loved | II
This week has been one of those weird ones, when you want to get so many things done but you end up procrastinating by watching vlogmas videos and ending up not concluding anything. Luckily I managed to type down a post for you to read. Lately I've discovered a few old favourites of mine while I was sorting out my beauty and skincare collection.

My Favourite Ways to Procrastinate
Exams are finally over and I can sit down and type a post without having to worry about school. This past month has been pretty stressful because of exams and with all the stress these go with. I also have to admit that I procrastinated a lot, especially when the two words 'maths' and 'studying' were involved.
